New recs not showing up

I'm encountering an issue with my Microsoft Access database and would appreciate some guidance on how to resolve it. I have a form where I can add new records, and these new records are correctly displayed in the associated table after they've been saved. However, when I navigate to the corresponding report, the newly added records do not appear. If I then reopen the form where I just created and saved the record from and go to last record it does not show up. ex. I have records with dates from 1/12/24 through 3/15/24. I added three new records dated 3/16/24, they do show in the table as added. If I reopen my entry form and move through the records they do not show up. IF I check in the tale they are there. Also, when I run the report the 3/15/24 record is the last that shows up the 3 new records with 3/16 dates do not show on report. I did run the compact and repair with no change. I tried recreating the report from scratch I get same results. I have not made recent changes to this form.

I would - just my thought for the minute... as it's happened to me from time to time.  Try Compact and Repair.  And then work down Richards trouble shooting list.   There could suddenly be corruption in the form as well.

It almost sounds to me like you got some kind of a filter running in your form and/or report.

I checked the filter on the report and the form under the data tab there is none. I also have run the Compact and repair. This is my first database, this form and report or the main function. I added some other forms and tables over the last weeks, but I can't think of anything that world have caused this. Could it be a relationship issue? If I change any of the prior records in the table, they still show up and the changes are correct. I have even changed the prior records to a date the same as new records. The record shows up as it should. I have deleted the 3 new records and reentered them, same issue.

Okay, I didn't know this was your first database, so the first thing I'd like to do is create a blank new form based on that table and make sure that all the records show up. If that's the case, then the problem lies in your other form, and we'll start troubleshooting there.

Sorry for the delay. When I have to work nights, it's tough to have time.  I entered three new Items, and I created a new short version report, and the 3 new records with a 3/22 date show up.  When I scroll through records on my entry form, I only see one of the new records. It shows in the form when I create the new item. I can move to the previous record and then back through to the last, and the new entry shows. If I close the form and reopen it, only one of the three items shows up. They all 3 show up on the table as entered. The form shows no filters applied. If it was just the report, I could just remake that, but the form has on it. Is there something that would affect both the report and the form when it's getting data from the table?
