According to the video, their preview was made before they received all the icons for the menu - hence the blank spaces.

I plan on making several videos on this - when they're done and this is finally released to the public. Still in beta now, I believe. (I didn't watch the whole video, just skimmed it).

So I recently subscribed to this AI tool called MaxAI.me*. I use it a lot to "AI proofread" my emails and such. It works pretty much anywhere in your browser. Anyhow, one feature they have that I absolutely LOVE is the ability to summarize and ask questions about YouTube videos - so you don't have to watch the whole thing.

Now obviously you want to watch all of MY videos (because I'm awesome) but there are just some presenters that have GOOD material, but are just not that good at... well... presenting. Some are just painful to listen to. So that's where this tool comes in handy. I'll post the summary I got next.

*Full disclosure - yes, I signed up for their affiliate program because I love the service. I'll get like 3 cents if you sign up. LOL

- The team is making the code more modular to implement new chart types more efficiently.
- Existing charts will continue to work alongside the new additions.
- Users appreciate the advanced charting features, likening them to PowerBI capabilities.
- Suggestions for further enhancements like candlestick charts and integration with PowerPoint presentations have been noted.

Q: Did they say when it would be released to the public?

A: The release of the Modern Chart improvements for Microsoft Access is planned for August and September. The team presented the current development status at the Access DevCon Vienna recently, indicating that the rollout is scheduled for that timeframe.

Q: Isn't Karl's theme song ridiculously catchy?

A: Karl's theme song does have a catchy tune that enhances the video's engagement. It helps set a lively and upbeat tone for his content.

Oh awesome, I've always hated access' graphs compared to what excel offers, hopefully this evens the field.

Word Cloud is currently only available in Access, we got something before Excel!

I would have loved having this back in the day when I manually created these.

It's now using the same framework the whole of Office uses so should produce similar outputs

Any news on whether the new charts will work on older versions of Access or will all users need to be on the latest version of Access to see the charts?

No chance they will work on older versions.
