Search Across Multiple Fields

I am designing a database to track Software Support Tickets (trouble, resolution, etc.).  I am building in four (4) Tag fields that will describe the trouble, for easy searching by folks having a problem (i.e., before they open a new ticket).  Is there a upcoming lesson (I am on Expert 4 now) that will cover searches across multiple fields?  Or, is there a better design approach that will allow broad searches by users?

I use a search field in my CustomerT table. This search field is a combination of the CustomerName, CustomerAlias, and CustomerNumber. In the AfterUpdate event of CustomerName, CustomerAlias, or CustomerNumber, I update the search field by removing all spaces and special characters (such as -, *, ., etc.). Additionally, I normalize certain letters, such as converting dt to t and ç to c, etc..

In the AfterUpdate event of UltraSearch (an unbound text box), I also transform the text and use it to set the filter. This approach works very well and is highly user-friendly.

But you need some VBA.

I watched the Search Form 2.0 video very carefully.  It dawned on me that I should have explained my need more carefully.  Rather than "Search Across Multiple Fields", better I would have said "One Search In Multiple Fields".  My database will include up to four tag fields per record - they will describe the nature of the issues a user had previously with the software.  I would like the user having a current issue to be able to search all tags at once, with one or more keywords.  Would it work to concatenate the (up to) four tags, and then one search with wildcard on that string?  Thoughts?

You came up with the solution, concatenate then search.
