Password Manager
Kevin Robertson

Been working on a Password Manager which also track the history of each domain and each deleted domain. Enter unlimited email addresses and set any one to your default (the first entered is automatically set to the default). Below are some screenshots of 3 of my forms. Obviously I used fake email addresses and passwords for displaying in a public forum.

I've used KeyPass for years for all kinds of passwords, not just "domains" for all my computer and WEB accounts. It has a great paste for login, groups, generates compliant passwords, and runs on my Android for when I'm not at the computer.

Are you doing this for users that want a one-stop-for-all password manager, of is this something else?
What are you doing here that might be different than products like KeyPass?

Hi Kevin

Looks Good! Maybe add Rick's Encryption to really protect the passwords. John

A final question, I don't expect that my Access databases will have bullet-proof security. That's just the nature of a system where people need to get to data to do their job. Hackers exploit that very basic premise. On the other hand, I expect my password manager to be 99% bullet-proof. How safe are you able to make your Password Manager with Access?

The other day my fanny-pack fell off while riding my motorcycle, and my worst fear came to pass. My life in a wallet and phone were out of my control. For a few hours, I was freaking out with all the implications. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan found it and answered the phone.

Another two days recently, before the above loss, twice my credit card number had been fraudulently used, and the banks cancelled my card requiring me to receive a new one. One of those got stolen from the mail (making me wait another three weeks for another replacement card). We are more vulnerable than ever with all this "security".
