Suggestions for flowchart software
Jeffrey Nabarek

My PassBase software has become a can of worms,  I put some ideas on paper.  However it become so complex that I need to flowchart the logic.

I am looking for suggestions for a good flowchart program.  Something that you pay once and you are licensed to use it.  I tried a few freebies.  Some of them require an engineering degree.

As always, I thank you for reading or responding to my blog.

Yeah - not too hard. You can even use Word or PowerPoint.

Flowcharts?!!! I haven't done one since university. My first job wanted me to do one for a pension program I was analyzing for Pacific Bell. Even their best internal staff had given up for the complexity. That project forced me to stop passing off incomprehensively complex logic documentation to the programmers and just roll up my sleeves, learn that machine's language and write the logic/rules into code.

Throughout doing that, the words of my mentor-professor came back to me loud and clear: "The most powerful command in any programming language is... the comment." RIP Gerald Smith, PhD. POM, CSUN.

In the past I have tried various flowchart programs.  /After tryin the others compared to Excel.  I will stick with excel.  It is the easiest to work with.  It takes some getting use to.  I just spent one hour working with excel.  I already made a flowchart.

this post is now closed.  From my stand point.  Others can discuss it if they want to.
