Imaging Seminar Addendum
Use New ControlSource Property to Display Image
Microsoft added a new ControlSource
property to the Image control starting with Access 2007. This
means you can now display a picture on a form or report just by
specifying its filename in a text field with NO
VBA CODE required. Plus, this technique now works with
continuous forms.
Here is a VIDEO TUTORIAL
that will walk you through this topic in detail. Click on the link
below.
Of course, there are still a TON of other great
techniques covered in the
Access
Imaging Seminar, including:
- Bound OLE Objects
- Editing Pictures in your Form
- Embedding Excel Spreadsheets in your Form
- Selecting a File with the Common Dialog Control
(click, pick, save)
- Copying Selected Files to a Central File Storage
Folder
- And lots more...
