This one's for expert-level users with five questions about Access forms. You'll have three seconds to answer each question, so hit that pause button if you need more time. Keep track of your score. We'll see how you did at the end.
You ready to keep your calls in the right timeline? Here we go.
Question 1.
A callback list shows only records where Must Callback equals True. The call is finished, and its notes must stay in the contact table. What should you do before reopening the list?
Delete the contact record.
Clear its Must Callback checkbox.
Clear the callback date or set the callback date to yesterday.
That'll be: clear its Must Callback checkbox.
Question 2.
A button reads a bound Customer ID text box. What happens if you set that text box's Visible property to No?
The stored Customer ID is erased.
The button must use the customer's name.
The text box becomes unbound.
The button can still read the Customer ID.
The button can still read the Customer ID.
Question 3.
You change a default from =Date()+1+(14/24) to =Date()+1+14. What does the revised expression return?
Tomorrow at 2 PM, midnight 14 days from today, midnight 15 days from today, or today at 2 PM.
That'll be midnight 15 days from today.
Question 4.
Callback F uses a query that selects only Must Callback equals True. The button that opens it says, "Open the form and show all records." Which records appear?
Only the records returned by that query, every record in Contact T, only the records selected on the main menu, or none until the button adds another filter.
That'll be A, only the records returned by that query.
Question 5.
A query shows Contact T.* plus a separate Callback Date Time column sorted ascending. The data appears twice. How can you keep every field, the sort, and just one date column?
Clear Show for Contact T.*.
Remove the separate Callback Date Time column.
Sort Contact T.* ascending.
Or clear Show only for the separate date column.
That's D, clear Show only for the separate date column. Hide that field.
Alright, how'd you do? Did you get all five? Did you save the entire callback continuum? Where's your time machine still on snooze?
Well, if you missed any, these topics and more are covered in Microsoft Access Expert Level 3 Lesson 2 on building a callback form.
Thanks for playing. Be sure to post your score in the comments down below, preferably before your future self gets there first.
And until next time, live long and prosper.Intro
