Network Trusted Location

I have been using a network drive as a trusted location to back up database files. Access is no longer allowing me to use a network drive. I get the warning message that the path you have entered cannot be used as a trusted location for security reasons. Choose another location or a specific folder. Has access changed something that no longer allows network drives to be trusted? How do I solve this problem? Please see screenshot.

My version of Access is Microsoft® Access® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2412 Build 16.0.18324.20092) 64-bit

Try using a UNC path. Mine is \\SERVER\Database even though I have it mapped to my Z: drive.

The solution turned out to be in the Windows Credentials Manager. I deleted the existing Windows Credential and added a new one . I mapped the network shared folders and add the desired one to the trusted location. Everything works. Thanks for your assistance.

They're getting crazy with security. I miss the days of a simple username and password. I spent 5 days dealing with Google and a security problem because I switched phones. Ugh!
