Transfer Start and End Date to Report
Colin Smyth

I have a query that allows me to count the number of people seen between two dates - as shown in attached diagrams. However, I want to set up a report that shows the result with the heading showing the start and end dates. However, the only way I can get it to work, requires me to enter start and end date twice. I understand why it is happening - because the report header is asking for the start and end date, but I am not sure how transfer the dates from the query to the report header. Any help would be appreciated.

did you specify the date range in a criteria? use the fields that you enter to display in the header

Instead of using a Parameter Query I would use a couple of Form fields to enter your dates. That way you only need to enter them once.

Hi Juan, Kevin and John. Thank you all for your suggestions. Ended up using John's method but really appreciated everyone's advice. All working now. Obviously more than one way of doing things.
