I guess this is a Microsoft problem, but is related to Access combo boxes. Forgive me if this is not an appropriate forum for this question but I have searched all over the www and cannot find a solution. I keep getting a unrecognized database format error, on my home PC running Access 2013, when I try to create a combo box. The error pops up as soon as I click the form after selecting the combo box. I have tried downloading the sample database several times. I also tried with a brand new database. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2013 (Office 365 Home Premium). I do not have this problem with my laptop running Office Pro 2010. Any suggestions on why this happens.

It sounds like you've tried everything that I would have suggested. The only thing left would be to reformat and reinstall Windows. Perhaps one of your shared DLLs or library files are corrupted and Office isn't replacing it.
