Error with Record Set

Hi,

Not sure what I have done, but I have lost the link to the main record table whilst in a form.

I was in the process of editing a form, added 3 fields, went to save detail and now get error message

Cannot add record(s) join key of table TblStock not in recordset

Can anyone help correct this?

Hi Alex, At the time I was using FrmStock file to add the data & new fields, it was this form I tried linking another table with 3 fields called TblStocktake. The main data file is TblStock which is a database only, although you can add data directly, I add data directly from the FrmStock. Do you want me to send you the complete access file?

Hi Alex, I think I have fixed it. The Recordsource field said SELECT so I added TblStock and the data has come back. Fingers Crossed
