Open Specific Record in Report
Carolyn

I have a database that has soldier's info in one table and soldiers medical travel in the other. It is a one to many relationships because soldiers are seen at many places at different times and I need to limit the amount of records created in database. I combined the tables in a query. I have a report that I created from the query. The report looks more like a memo because is serves as documentation or orders for travel.  I have a form that many clerks will use to enter this data. I need to create a button that will print or print preview only the current record that we have created. Currently I see all of the record related to the soldier ID.  I know we can select a page in the print menu but we need a quicker option.

This is surprisingly difficult to do. See this tutorial on how to open/print a SPECIFIC RECORD in a report.
