Let's deal with one problem at a time.
In the first Form, there is no need for the DLookup, Just get that value from the Municipality Combo box. make sure that MunicipalityType is in the list of the combo box, them make the Unbounded field record source = MunicipalityCombo.column(3) Where (3) in the number of the field in the list (remember it is zero based)

Sami - Using your method (=[MunicipalityCOMBO].[column](2)) works great. It fills the text box instantly, and when I use .Requery on the cascading combos, I no longer need to also clear the text box, it happens automatically. And when i go to the next record, its also auto cleared there. With the Dlookup it appeared on all the new records so I had to also do a textboxname = "" on current. I don't need that anymore. Works fantastic.  I stiil need to save this value into the property owners table though as I am getting this from a seperate table on municipalities and their types.  I dont know how to do that. Or maybe I dont. As long as there is a municipality, the type automatically pops up and my reports and labels are being made from this page. However, I still have the issue of the COUNTY of the last STATE in that field pop up whenever I change to another state and then back to NY.  Actually, every time I put in NY, Franklin County gets auto chosen and it should not be. Thank you!

You can save this value into the property owner's table with an SQL command on after Update.

Something like this:

DetailsDim sql as string
sql = "ALTER OwnerT SET FildName = "  & [MunicipalityCOMBO].[column](2) " & " WHERE OwnerID = " & OwnerID
currentdb.Excute sql
