Running Queries From the Log Table
Mark Fannin

I have an orderT and started using an orderLogT to track changes over time.  I'm using the after update event to copy into the orderLogT.  Now that I have a lot of data, what relationship should I set up between the orderT and orderLogT?  The orderT has helper tables relating customer names and such.  Only the orderT has a primary key, orderLogT has a related field as a number only - just like in Richard's video on track changes.  What is the best method to create queries?  Use the orderLogT and make new relationships with the helper tables?

Thank you Juan for the help.  I will keep a sharp eye out for that.  I worked some more on the problem last night and I think I need to add multiple instances of the employeeT to match each field where there are number values leading back to the employeeT.  I recall Ricard mentioning in one of his classes where he added another instance of a table but I cannot recall which video it was.  Any tips would be appreciated.  All the best.  Mark.
