There's one thing I don't get about this. The form and subform are supposed to be connected via the OrderID. But the field is missing from the subform. How's the connection made? On a side note, when Rick drops the the subform in the form, the link is apparently created automatically. In my case (as I'm building the database while watching) it wasn't. I had to go and change the Link Master and Child Fields to OrderID. It works, but I cannot understand how.

I think that it might had been mentioned before, but I found the answer in 9.4 where Rick creates a sub-report. In short, one can get away from including the linking key in the sub-form but, as he mentions, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
