Query to Specify Items Logged More Than Once
Sandi Cushion

I have a log table where, each time the record is updated in any way, a new logID is produced showing the RecordID e.g. (Item001234) and the date it was changed.  Most have only one record so only some of the ids are recorded more than once.
I want to produce a report showing only the records which have been changed i.e. a RecordID that has more than one LogID – how do I specifically ask the query to do this?

Account Statements 3
Between Dates
Date Criteria

Good Day Sandi.  I think all 3 videos will answer your question.  so the question now is what video best fits your need.

Let me know which solution worked out for you.

Thanks Juan, but no, this isn’t quite what I’m after.    I don’t want to select start and end dates as I want to see all dates.  My Log Table (LogT) is updated each time a record in the Main Table is changed.   I want to see all the records listed by date but only when there is more 2 or more dates to that record.  I have the ID which is UAN and the STAGE the record is at, i.e. start, waiting, review, finished.  When I allocate a STAGE to an Item, Now() is applied to DateUpdated.
Most of the records might only have one stage and date, and as there are thousands, I don’t want to see them.  I just want to be able to click a button and the report shows a list of UANs and the STAGE and the date.

I just want to be able to click a button and the report shows a list of UANs and the STAGE and the dates – but only if there are more than two.

Make an aggregate query on the LogT and use Count (instead of GroupBy) on the RecordID. Then add a criteria to the count column showing >1.

If you want all the fields you will need two queries.
Is what I show in my screenshot below similar to what you are looking for?
