Linked Excel Tables Inventory Management

I have linked power query excel tables that pull part numbers from a MS Teams document that our engineers and procurement manager updates for anything that we need part numbers for, has anyone ran into this situation before and have a solution to utilizing those numbers or should i just periodically import the part numbers so that a product id can be assigned in access. Thanks.

I'm looking to create an inventory DB but all of our part numbers are generated in an excel document, i would need to use those part numbers to track their quantities on hand, I already pull those part numbers over to use in our workorder DB to put in our workorders or purchase requests but now having to track their inventory levels I'm not sure if that is the best route to go anymore.
