I kind of run in to a unusual problem.
in one of my Databases I've have forms with listboxes. Of course I added a counter on each onde of them. But ....

Access 2010 has a problem with more than one counter even if they are not in the same form. I've had an error message that wasn't very helpful. It referred to an expected macro in the on-open event, which I don't have in this Database. Searching some more in the "macro" button in the ribbon it called on a unrelated Database from years ago in Access XP.

Curious why in another form the counter worked properly I found out it was named counter 2. So I renamed the problem counters "counter3; counter4 etc" and the problem seems to be solved.

I can't picture what's going on. I'd probably have to see your database to tell you for sure.
