Still this doesn't work. I pretty sure I tried all options in Access 2010.

First using the wizard, which doesn't alow only 1 field to store a value for later use.

Hiding two colums results in different isues trying to retrieve data. The first visible column disapears when moving through the selecting options (yes, from the Search seminar).

Tried to manualy correct the properties; number of colums etc.

build it again from scratch without the wizard with no result either.

So I brought it back to the original and have to find a acceptable solution.

eddy, I would need to see the database to tell you for sure what's wrong. I can't picture it from your description.
