Hi there I made a form with a "Search As You Type" textbox, but I did not encounter any problem with the cursor position, i.e. there is no need to use the SelStart function in the Searchbox. No problem with the Spaces as well. Access does not kill them. I wonder whether Microsoft has upgraded Access in the meantime. Best regards Rolf
