Hi all,

As I have migrated my DB to sharepoint lists I keep running into small problems.  This newest one is really having me scratch my head.  I have an order form with a subform for entering the parts.  In the form footer of the subform I have an unbound field called Rowcount that I want it to count the number of rows/records and use this to automatically populate the line # for each record.  The control source for this field is pretty basic =count(*).  It worked perfectly before I migrated the data tables to Sharepoint and this field is not even in the table.  Now it will not calculate.  I've tried me.refresh afterupdate of the partnumber field and that did nothing.  I've used recalc, but while that works, it resets the active record to the first in the list, losing the place in the new record.  

has anyone else run into this scenario?  Did I miss something really silly???
