I am printing deposit slips from a list of payments made by tenants. There are too many payments to include the detail on the deposit slip. I grouped the Report by payment_type (check, money order or cash) and then included a sum in the group header. The problem is that not every deposit has all three types and the size of the deposit slip is wider or narrower, depending on the number of payment types per deposit. I would like to make the deposit slip the same size, regardless of the number of payment types. In the alternative, I would like the payment type to be zero if there are no items in that group. I tried using dsum for each payment type, but I couldn't get it to work either.

By "wider" I assume you mean "taller." You can set the height exactly where you want it for that section and then set the CAN GROW and CAN SHRINK properties to NO so it's exactly the same size every time.
