I have basic customer form, and am still a new user.  I made mistake of putting birthdate as mm/dd/yyyy.  Now I don't know how to select/make report of birthdays to send out BD cards monthly. needed format of yyyy/mm/dd  I guess.  How should I fix this. Any lesson to buy? or simple fix.

Access is going to store dates in your tables however your WINDOWS REGIONAL SETTINGS are configured. Usually that's mm/dd/yyyy for USA and dd/mm/yyyy for the rest of the world. Check your Control Panel.

Now, if you have the dates stored WRONG in your table because you were entering them that way, you can fix them all with an UPDATE QUERY. You'll need to break down the dates using the component functions MONTH, DAY, and YEAR, and then reassemble them again with the DATESERIAL function.
