Records Different Between Table and Query
Lee Shastid

Interesting issue here. I have a Products table that has 112 entries in it. I set a query with no search criteria in it. It runs and shows 97 entries. I compared the two and there 15 products not showing on the query. I have tried to re enter those products but it still will not recognize those 15 missing entries even as new ones. I can add another product different than those 15 and it will recognize it in the query. One of the items there is 2 of them one is showing and 1 is not. Any Ideas?

Hi Lee  Please show us the query. We cannot solve an issue unless we see what is going on. John

Here is an example in the Table there is 2 of the item with little variation. One is showing in the query but the other is not. I have even made new query and it does it also.

Kevin is probably right.  He usually is.  but if what he suggested doesn't work clear out all the criteria you entered.   Get them to match, then add your criteria.  Run the query as you add the back and you'll find the culprit

Thank you. Its just odd one of the items is almost a duplicate of another , and one shows and the other dont. I guess just a quirk

One thing I noticed about the three items you say don't show in the one screenshot, they don't have a model number. You show part of the criteria in the query design view but not the whole criteria which makes me wonder if the criteria won't bring forth the record without a model number.

I will try to add something and see what happens. Thanks for the catch.
