Cant Shorten Form
Jennifer Nield

Hi. In my Database one of the forms contains 3 tabs.
For some odd reason, the form is way too long and has so much wasted space.
The first tab is the form, the 2nd and 3rd tabs are from subforms which I have checked are trimmed properly and don't have that wasted space.
Any ideas?
I have image clips of them but can't see where I can show them here.

Chances are you have some tiny object on the forms where you dont want it.   press ctrl-a and see if anything suddenly appraes

The height of all tabs will be the height of the tallest tab.

So if the content on your first tab takes up 2 inches, the content on your 2nd tab takes up 1 inch, and the content on your 3rd tab is 5 inches, all of your tabs will be at least 5 inches because the tab control has to accommodate all of the tabs at the same time.

Think of it as all of the content on all of your tabs is loaded at once, but the Tab your viewing makes the content on the other tabs visible property to no.

I don't know how many times I tried fixing this, looking for the rogue tab, but today I tried again shortening them and it worked! I'm on a different machine, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Jennifer there is a good reason why Richard discourages the use of tap controls. They are problematic. You are better off doing your own controls.
