Combo Box Limit
Lee Shastid

I have a Relational Combo Box on a field. It will only allow 26 entries. I then get this message: The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship.
Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit, duplicate entries and try again.

If I choose a name that's already in the list it works fine, or if I delete one and then enter the new one it will work. But limit to 26 is it. Any fix for this/

Please be more specific. See Rule #2.

Show your Combo box row source and format as well as show the table the combo box read from also in design view.

When I try and snip the property sheets go off screen and they are not cascaded for some reason.

Sami I have used snip and and sketch that's how I posted previous clips on here. But for some reason the property sheet disappears when once I click on Snip tool. I even put the property sheet on another screen by itself and it still does it

Go to the Settings of the Snipping Tool and make sure the PrtScn key is set as a shortcut to open the Snipping Tool.
When you press PrtScn you can take a screenshot of the Property Sheet.

DealerID is always coming in as zero (0) because it is a Number instead of an AutoNumber.

Gotcha Kevin. Here is a screenshot of the message I get when I try to change it. So do I follow this and if I do does everything I have done need to be redone.

Delete DealerID first then SAVE the Tables. Then you can add DealerID again as an AutoNumber.
Remember to click on the Key button on the Ribbon to make the new field the Primary Key.

That worked so far. It is letting me add more dealers now. So nothing I need to do behind the scenes to the combo boxes or anywhere. I guess as far as it being recognized it will just pickup where the old one was?
