In this lesson add customer ID numbers (foreign key) to the contact table.

I have customers that can work with many contacts and contacts that can work with many customers. I have built a join table with customerID and contactID and have related them to the proper tables.

How do I relate a certain customer with a certain contact? Or how do I build a query that shows what customers can call what contacts, and visa versa?

I think we have a difference in what we mean by "contact." It sounds like you are using "contact" to mean a PERSON at a company. In my lessons, I refer to a "contact" as an EVENT; the act of calling someone and noting what was discussed.

However, in your case, you need to set up something called a MANY TO MANY relationship where each COMPANY can have multiple PEOPLE, and those PEOPLE can each work for different COMPANIES.
