Richard I've found a module that works. I've installed it Access as a module called CloseButtonDisable. When I run the module it works but I'm having trouble calling it from the splash screen that is the first form to open. I wanted to disable it there and then enable it when the program is shut down. Calling the module is my problem.

Well, you don't call a module. A module is just an object that contains VBA code. Find the name of the function or sub in that module that performs the action you want and call that.
