Displying Id Instead of Name

I have a table called rooms. It has roomid and roomname. I have it set for my combo boxes to work like Richard shows in his videos. Store the ID and display the name. It all works fine in my combo boxes. When I create a form though it shows the roomID instead of the name. How do I get the roomname displayed instead of the roomid?

in your properties, there is a "column count" property for the combo box. It should be set to "2" Then, right below that, there is a "Column widths" property. It should be set to 0";1" This will hide the room id and show the room name. you can make the second column wider or narrower as needed

I just realized to delete the text box and put a combo box in the form. Thank you for your quick response.

If you want to display both the ID and the name, you could put them both in a query and then display that. There's lots of different ways to do it.
