I want to save results of calculated fields in queries in a table, in order to use these to later calculate other fields.

First results would show performance of a worker, comparison to industry standards, etc...
The second results would be comparison performance between different workers making then a different sets of calculations between them.

You COULD save these results with an UPDATE QUERY or use a CALCULATED FIELD in a table, however you almost never need to. You can always re-create the data and use it on the fly in another query. Unless you've got a GIANT set of data that is really slow when you run it, you shouldn't save calculated results in your table.
