Time Clock

Hi,
I posted on the second time clock video. Thank you for letting me know this would be the best place to post my questions. My time clock is going to be Image1 which is now a working database. I would like to use some sort of icon to open to Image1 as opposed to the main menu in Image2. The employee can just as easily click on their name in Image1. I would like, if possible, to open Image1 and it's report outside of the Access window as if it is its own separate program. I would also like to make the report auto add the hours worked in a given day/week. What would be your suggestions. Thank you for your help.

Hi Julian, I used AI to find a suitable image and then place a transparent button over it. You can be very creative with your image.  John

For having the Form be able to open outside the Access Window:
I would highly recommend NOT doing this as your form can end up where it's not really accessible.  But to do it, Click on the Form Properties square at the top left of the form.  In your Property Sheet, in the 'Other' tab, Set 'Pop Up' to Yes.  Now you can move it anywhere on any screen.

In the picture I just posted, there are 2 forms displayed.

1. The top form looks like a banner across the top.
2.  The Main Menu is the second form.

To do this... create your Form to look like a banner. Then set the following prperties:
Record Selectors: No
Navigation buttons: No
Scroll Bars: Neither
Control Box: No
Close Button: No
Min Max Buttons: None
Moveable: No (after you save it where you want it to open)

Hope this helps.
