I have a code

Private Sub OpenEmployee()
    If IsNull(EmployeeID) Then Exit Sub
    DoCmd.openform "EmployeeF", , , "EmployeeID=" & EmployeeID
End Sub

Private Sub EmployeeID_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
    OpenEmployee
End Sub

but everytime I run it, it states Enter Parmeter Value the actual EmployeeID then a blank box to enter the value. please help

You misspelled a field name somewhere. Most likely, you have the control source of the field as "employeeID", but the name of the field is something else.

Click on the "employeeID" field and then go to the properties "All" and scroll to the top. Make sure the "name" and the control source" are both "employeeID".
