Filter Many Records Using Weekdayname and Combobox
Mark Desens

I have a form that has a combo box where I can choose the month and press a button that opens a continuous form showing all the records for the month I have chosen. It’s connected to a query. The query has the month so using the form I can choose which month I want. It’s working good. I added “day of week” and “day of week name” to the query so I can filter on the continuous form which day I want to look at. I have a combobox with the weekday names on the continuous form but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to filter the weekdayname in the query. I need help to figure out how to filter using my combobox choosing a weekday and showing it on the continuous form. I did try the forms!records!cbweekday in the criteria but nothing. I need help.

Is the RecordSource for forms!records!cbweekday a single column?
Does the Query for the Continuous Form contain a Field called Weekday?

Don't use Weekday as a field name. It is the name of a function.

Weekday

Thanks Kevin. I’ll rename it then try it again.
