Default Value on Subform

I am trying to set a default value on a date field in a subform to a date field in the parent form, I have tried every syntax I can think of and cannot seem to make it work. Any suggestions?

The normal syntax doesn't work? Are you getting any errors or anything? Value From a Form `=Forms!CustomerF!StartDate`

Hello, I guess all I had to do was ask the question. I figured it out by linking the master and child fields differently.

Kevin, thank you for that, that worked! I was trying to call it from the form like Adam said and it wasn't working.
