Transfer Money From Account 1 to Account 2

I have 6 fields to consider for this process.
If I use the 3, Id, ChkDate and Amount fields there is no problem.
When using the additional 3 fields I am getting the ERROR message (Missing Operator).
PayComboFrom, DescFrom and TagFrom.
The data displays correctly from Debit and Credit in Code.
What am I Missing?????
Werner
Thanks

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Werner Do the following:

dim SQL as string, put the sql statement in this variable. Them Msgbox it before you execute it with: "currentdb.execute SQL"

If at this point you still can't figure out what you are doing wrong, please show us the message you get when you do the messagebox.

I believe you need Double Double Quotes around  DescFrom, TagFrom, DescTo, and TagTo in your statements.

Hi Donald, I tried it with this on to line, getting a compile error.
Maybe the double quotes are incorrect.
  "(" & CreditCombo & ", #" & Date & "#, " & Amount & ", " & PayComboFrom & ", " & "PFrom"" & ", " & "DescFrom"" & ", " & "TagFrom"" & ", " & ")"

I am assuming PayComboFrom (or PayFromCombo) has an ID in the first column (hidden) and the text that goes into PayeeName is in the second column.

"(" & CreditCombo & ", #" & Date & "#, " & Amount & ", """ & PayComboFrom.Column(1) & """, """ & PFrom & """, """ & DescFrom & """, """ & TagFrom & """)"

Thanks' Kevin, I really appreciate your input. I see I have made some big mistakes. I Just did not know how to do the double double Quotes.  The code worked perfect for creditcombo and debitCombo.

Also, thanks to Donald for your input. I got it finally working, what a relief.    Thank You again, Werner Mildt
