Hi,
I have a list box filled with current employees.  I set up an on click command to open the collection of forms where I log that employee's time, projects, etc. for each week.  When my time tracking form opens, I have an on open event to go to a new record.  All this works fine, but I can't get the employee id to automatically take the value of the rest of the collection of forms.  How can I do this?  
The autonumber for the new record does take on a value when I open to the new record.  The employee id is a foreign key and its the "WHERE" condition in the on click command in the list box.
I hope that makes sense!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should have the EmployeeID on Form1. It can be a combo box. Then when you open Form2, you want to set the DEFAULT VALUE for EmployeeID to Forms!Form1!EmployeeID. I cover this in Access Expert 2.
