Can anyone help with this problem...I am creating a database that will allow me to capture the work done each day by the operators in my factory. The guys fill in a time sheet with the different jobs they perform in a day, and the following morning I enter this into the database.
Each record has the following data; Operator, Date, Work area, Job ID No., Time taken.
I want a form that will allow me to select 1 date and 1 operator, and then allow me to enter multiple values for the job ID, time taken and work area, essentially generating a new record for each of these pieces of information. Basically I don't want to have to keep entering the operator and date each time I generate a record.

Set up fields (text, combo, whatever) in your FORM HEADER or footer and use that as a default value in the detail section. See this tutorial: Combo Box as a Default Value in Form Header.
