Combo Box Issue

I have a combo box on a form that when i enter something and its not in the list it will not let me edit the list to add it. I have deleted the combo and redone it and still the same thing.
Limit to list is set to YES (I have tried No as well)
Allow Value List Edits to YES
ListItemseditform is set to the correct form

Any ideas? Thank you in advance

Hi Lee, check at the very bottom of the combo box and see if you see a rather faint symbol (look carefully because it may be hard to see). If you see it click on it to see if it opens a form for you to enter a new item. If the faint symbol is not there I will show you how to fix it. John Glad to see you resolved it!

John the faint box was there just couldn’t open it. I was choosing the form that I was working instead of the source form. It’s fixed now.

Thank you John. I have had plenty time to watch a lot of videos multiple times in some cases. Slowly on the mend. Access is starting to get a little more likeable for me. Think I may do a sports card DB since I have so many cards.
