I'm up to X1 but my objective doesn't seem to be getting any closer:  Ultimately I want to be able to automatically generate the order dates for my regular delivery clients in my order records, as well as other default info.  They are designated by day of the week for weekly deliveries and day of the fortnight for fortnightly in my customer table and I've already set up the queries that pick them out.  If I can do this it will greatly reduce data entry.  Is this going to be possible with Access?

Yes, it's certainly possible. I cover something like this in my PAYABLES SEMINAR - setting up recurring payments. Setting the dates automatically (such as when you create an account or mark a delivery as made) requires some programming. I will cover something like this once we get into the Advanced / Developer lessons.
