Hi Richard, I have a subform design question. I have a form that has two subforms attached. I want each of the  two subforms to have the sliding bar on tne right side of them.(Look to the right) I have checked the properties and I have both the horizontal and vertical options selected. I noticed that the sliding bar on the right will appear when a certain number of items appear in each of the subforms. I would like the bars on the right to appear at all times and not dependent upon how many items appear in my dataset subforms. Is there a way to do that?

Nope. The vertical scrollbars will ONLY appear when there are more records to display than will fit in the form. I don't know any way to force them ON, but it's probably possible with VBA.
