The rows get added as you enter the item, thinking out the box use recodset and have the records generate ID autonumbers and with relation have the form show the line items recomend Automatic Record Numbering not to show the id number and maybe limit the number of entry to what was generated to avoid problems.  As for me i like to add items as it goes due to always there is one more that needs to go out that shows up at the last minute.  Many ways to skin this one just need to see what you are looking at and maybe we can lick in an idea or two.  And we are always here to help.
