Simple VBA Issues

When I am writing the same code that I have written many times this has never happened. When I write on load event is what I am doing.
when I type docmd. it flashes the intellisense options and it goes away. Then it turns red and if I try and finish GoToRecord,, acNewRec it starts putting commas in weird places and I basically have to write the code around any characters and delete any unwanted characters. Examples are below. Thank you

You have a Timer() event running in one of your open Forms.
Close any open Forms that have an active Timer() event.

Okay thank you. I have a clock being displayed on my Main Menu Form. that's the only timer I know of. Thank you Kevin.

I could have sworn I covered this in the video. Maybe I just mentioned it somewhere in one of the developer lessons, but this would definitely make a good TechHelp video.

Richard you probably did. It seems the older I get the more memory goes away. Or its a video I haven't seen yet.

Yeah, I feel like this is something that I get asked quite a lot. It deserves its own TechHelp video, and no one else has a video for it. So that means it's time for a video, LOL. If I don't show up on a Google search for something like that, I make a video.

I have had to watch numerous videos several times. That one I think I may have watched it once or started to and got distracted. Thanks for the info.
