New Record Issue

I have a dealer form that when it opens I have it on load event DoCmd.GoToRecord,,acNewRec. It loads perfectly. I then have a product list that I have a double click event to open that form. But when that form opens it opens to a new record instead of opening the record of the product. Is there a way to make both options to work?

Not if you put that code in the Load even. It will always open to a new record.
If you need the Form to open to a new record use a button to open the form for that specific purpose.
