Open the Property Sheet for the Text Box.
On the 'Other' tab set Tab Stop to No.

Yeah, looks like that's basically the first tab stop on your form. If there are no other fields you can tab to on the menu, then you'll have to make a little blank one and sit it in the corner. I've had to do that on a few forms, but normally, if you do what Kevin said and make that not a tab stop, it'll just go to your first button.

If it's just a display field that the database generates for you that is not editable, then you could also set the properties on the data tab of the field to enabled = false and locked = true and even if there are no other controls, Access will pass the focus to the form.

That is for sure...Just trying to remember the different ways to do something is a challenge in itself...
