Text Field on a Form Default Value

I am doing the alternative method of text boxes instead of hyperlinks like in Richards Hyperlink video. My question is on the Field where he puts a File Location Text box and enters the path is where my question is. Is there some place I can put the path to where there is a default path in that field and never have to enter the whole path every time? The path will be the same always. I went to the ProductT and tried putting the path in the default value but it does not appear on the form.

The Default Value will only show for new records, not existing records.

Got it...Thank you...Here's a question you with your expertise may know. When I create a Button to go to that path it creates havoc for me elsewhere. I have a field for vendor and use dlookup to pull address, city, state, zip over when I enter the name it works fine. As long as I do not close the DB all of those fields are fine with their data. However if I close the DB and open it up the address, city, state, zip all show #Name? in their fields. Not associated with the button at all. If I delete the button all is normal. Any ideas what is causing this?

Okay. Kevin...I have deleted the button 4 times and re did it and it seems to be working now. If it does it again I will post it and I have some of the screen shots but I cant get it to act up to show the error. Thank you for your help.
