I am tracking labor costs for my company and have a good handle on tracking by the job (i.e. order number) but I'm running into issues with tracking costs by part number.  
I can query any job number and get totals for all the labor expended. My problem comes in when I need to track a part number over multiple jobs.  Each order has one quantity.  I need the total number of parts made.  I can;t seem to isolate that number in a query.  Any thoughts?

Without seeing your database, and knowing how your tables and such are set up, I really can't comment. This sounds like a problem you can solve with DCOUNT but without knowing more I can't tell you exactly what it would look like.
