Ronald, with Access 2003, you have to purchase (BUY) the Microsoft Access Developer Extensions which I believe cost a few hundred dollars. These will enable you to package your Access database up into an executable package that people who don't have Access can run.

However... if you don't want to spend any money, you can just download the Access RunTime Edition for free (check Microsoft's Web site) which your end-users can install and then they can run your database that way too - they just can't edit it. This is the free option and involves a little more effort on the customer's part.

Now, from what I've read, Microsoft is making the Developer Extensions for Access 2007 FREE... so when you upgrade to 2007, you'll be able to distribute those databases in an EXE format, free of charge. I have yet to try this myself, but I look forward to testing it.
