Error Message

I created a program where the user can update a specific table. On my computer the form and calculating code work great in both ACCDB and ACCDE. I zipped this ACCDE file, emailed it to my customer. On HIS computer we get the error shown in attached.

Here is the code in AFTERUPDATE event.

Sub Calc_TotalPrices()

    Me.NewOHQty = Me.OnHand + Me.OrderQty
    Me.txtPurchaseCost = Me.List_Price * Me.OrderQty
    Me.TotalPurchaseCost = DSum("PurchaseCost", "tblOrdersOLCCTemp")
    Me.TotalQTY = DSum("REORDQTY", "tblOrdersOLCCTemp")
    Me.Recalc

End Sub

The form is attached and errors after updating the suggested order number
The error screen shot is attached

Try changing your Sub to an Event Handler Function. Form event properties don’t normally handle Subroutines.

Also tell the client to make sure the database is in a Trusted Location if it isn’t already.

Give it a Debug > Compile and run down the Troubleshooter on HIS PC. There could be something wrong with his Office installation, Windows, there's all kinds of things it could be that are wrong on his machine. Whenever someone says it works fine on my machine but it doesn't work on Someone else's machine, same database, chances are it's something else with that machine that's not right.

Finally figured this out after a couple of days work.  To use his version of Access he had to be signed into his Office account.  No new errors.  Thanks EVERYBODY!!

Yeah, MS Office tends to not let you do much if it can't verify you actually own the software. :)
