often in the lessons, you use a list box to open another form or row source. can this be down with two where clauses with in the list box?

I'm not sure I understand WHY you would need two where clauses, since the Listbox is usually providing a single ID to use, but sure, it would be possible.

I guess if you want to use another value off the form, let's call it X, you could say:

Docmd.OpenForm "SomeFormF",,,"ID=" & ListBox & " AND SomeOtherVal=" & X

That should do the trick.
