Printing the Notes in Excel
Gary Becker

If you "show" the notes on the worksheet, you can also print them. Two options in page setup: As displayed on sheet AND At end of sheet. I use it like that sometimes when I want to display extra comments that don't fit in the cell.

I find Excel VBA more challenging than Access VBA. In Excel, for me it's mainly working with the data in a workbook, moving the cursor around and formatting the worksheet, copying and pasting, etc. But, I have seen an entire pole barn materials estimating program written entirely in Excel with printed plans included.

Yes, thanks for sharing that, Gary. I should have mentioned that in the video. And yeah, I've seen some Excel VBA solutions that were really badly cobbled together, most of them should have been done in Access in the first place. But the one thing about Excel is it's got that macro recorder. So a lot of people would just record a macro, which is essentially them stepping through the spreadsheet clicking on stuff. And then they'll just edit that macro. I'll be honest, I do that once in a while myself, but it's no substitute for writing clean code.
